Equipment KIT from TYREMAN GROUP and Fort Monitor

How can you prevent premature failure of car tyres and reduce vehicles downtime without using additional equipment? You may use Fort Monitor software, FORT terminals and a system of tyre pressure control from Tyreman Group.

L-Trans LLC provides container and isometric transportation of cargoes all over Russia. They operate a fleet of over 100 vehicles that run over complicated routes and provide the required temperature mode over long-distances. The goal of the company was to optimize tyres wear and resolve the problem of diagnostics – tyre life was estimated based on traditional methods after the tyres failed.

Lack of preventive diagnostics resulted in higher risks for the company. However, taking into account tight delivery deadlines – primarily to distribution centers of hypermarket chains – such risks were unacceptable.

To solve the problem of tyres diagnostics, Tyreman Group integrated Fort Monitor system along with FORT-114 and FORT-112M terminals with its own PressuePro system – now tyre data are displayed in a separate module in the existing software.

In the beginning of the project, three vehicles were equipped with pressure and temperature sensors to test the system. That way the client had a chance to see our equipment in action and check its functionality. After a contract with Fort Monitor programmers had been signed, Tyreman Group specialists visited L-Trans head office to install the equipment and train employees.

To be able to scale the project, the client put forward a requirement to integrate PressurePro tyre pressure control system with Fort Monitor software.  Our specialists quickly organized the exchange of protocols, and modules integration to add the tyres module into the main software shell.

Integration of the tyres module into Fort Monitor system allowed L-Trans to track pressure and temperature readings during operation without the need to purchase additional equipment or software. This resulted in the increased tyre life and fewer premature failures of the tyres. In addition, this integration allowed all clients who use Fort Monitor software to implement a system of tyre pressure control without the extra cost of upgrading the monitoring system and the software.
