A memorandum of establishing an Inter-industry Project Consortium was signed in Moscow on September 30, 2019.
AUTODATA – a platform for gathering automobile data – is a project implemented as part of the Russian National Technology Initiative AUTONET. By the end of 2019, platform design and first sample services will be ready.
Signing of the official memorandum of establishing the consortium took part in Moscow on September 30. Fort Telecom CEO Sergey Makarenko personally took part in the event.
Fort Telecom is a co-founder of AUTODATA consortium together with GLONASS, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Federal Space Agency, Federal Road Agency, Yandex, GAZ Group, Skolkovo and others.
The main task of the consortium is to develop and implement sample services based on collecting data from and about automobiles, further processing and use of these data.
AUTODATA is aimed to create a unique world-scale automobile database in order to provide equal competitive opportunities in the market and to provide interaction of automobile platforms with the external digital road infrastructure.
It is expected that the project will allow Russian companies to develop products and services competitive in the international market – for the operators of smart transport systems, automobile users, road services, leasing companies, etc.
